Free Legal Advice

Access Law Clinic is an innovative online law clinic registered within the LawWorks clinic network and offers pro bono (free) legal advice within England & Wales.

We operate fully online through telephone, written and video conferencing facilities and support areas of law where legal aid is non-existent and for those individuals who have been unable to access legal support due to financial barriers.

All our free legal advice is provided by qualified legal professionals and law students who have undertaken specialist clinical legal education training. We aim to bring you the best of the established legal industry comprised of solicitors, barristers and academics and ambitious aspiring legal professionals.

How it Works

After receipt of your enquiry to the law clinic this is how the service will work:

We will complete an initial assessment of your enquiry. This may require us to contact you for further information to determine if we are able to assist.
We will conduct internal conflict of interest checks.
We will inform you of the outcome of our initial assessment within 14 days of your enquiry.
If your enquiry has been accepted a Law Clinic Associate will be assigned to your matter together with a Supervising Practitioner.
The matter will be assessed by the Law Clinic Associate and the Supervising Practitioner.
The Supervising Practitioner will contact you and offer you 15 minutes free telephone legal advice.
Following the 15 minute free legal advice call, our file is closed.

We are unable to represent our clients in courts or tribunals. This is for both educational and professional reasons. This restriction also applies to a client’s request for someone from the Law Clinic to go along with them to any court related matter or hearing just to help them.
